Esteban Vietorisz, M.D.
Dr. Esteban Vietorisz graduated With Distinction from Cornell University, earning a B.S. in Neurobiology and Behavior. He earned his M.D. degree from Cornell Medical College and remained at Cornell Medical Center for his residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Vietorisz then completed a fellowship year in Cornea and External Eye Diseases at the Duke Eye Center. He joined Stamford Ophthalmology in 1996.
Dr. Vietorisz enjoys providing general ophthalmic care with special interests in corneal and external eye diseases, medical glaucoma management and small-incision cataract surgery.
Dr. Vietorisz is proud to be listed as a "Top Doctor" in Connecticut Magazine, Greenwich Magazine, Castle Connolly and various other publications. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and is an active member of the AAO, the Fairfield County Medical Association, and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.
Dr. Vietorisz was born and raised in New York City where he attended the United Nations International School. He speaks conversational Spanish, French and Signed English and enjoys a wide range of hobbies including woodworking, painting, boating and athletics. Dr. Vietorisz has lived in the Stamford area with his wife and two sons since joining Stamford Ophthalmology in 1996.
