Dr. Eleanore Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic surgery. She treats diseases of the eyelid and orbit and performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelid, orbit, and tear duct system including blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, and eyelid cancer reconstruction procedures.
Dr. Kim received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical School. She completed residency training in ophthalmology at Cornell and acquired advanced training in oculoplastics in a NYC based fellowship.
Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and collaborates with peers in national committees. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU, where she has taught residents and fellows in the field of oculoplastics for 15 years. Dr. Kim has served as medical student and residency program director at NYU and has published numerous peer reviewed articles in the fields of medical and surgical education and in the subspecialty of oculoplastics. Dr. Kim is a caring physician who provides patients with an individualized approach and guides them to their treatment goals with compassion and experience.
